Jain Temples

List of Jain Temples around Nasik, Aurangabad and Manmad:

About 60 Kms. from Nasik, there is Kanji Swami Digambar Jain Temple at Kahan Nagar (situated between Nasik and Devlali).
There are Digambar Jain Temples at Masrool (Gajpanth) 21 Kms. away from Nasik,. Of the two one is on the hills another is at down the hills.
At Manginungi (Antapur Tanhabad near Devla Satana) there is a Digambar Jain Temple. This place is about 85 Kms. from Manmad. This is called “Kaashi” of South and situated on the hills. To visit this temple one has to climb around 3000 steps. Generally people start climbing in the night. One can see the standing statue of Suvratnath.
Chintamani Parshvanath Digambar Jain Temple is there at about 33 Kms. away from Aurangabad in Katchner,. It has a “Swayambhoo” Statue (naturally appeared from the mother earth).
At about 30 Kms. away from Katchner in Paithan there is one statue made of sand. This is around 55-60 Kms. from Aurangabad.
Antariksh Parshavanath Jain Temple is situated about 50-55 Kms. away from Akola in Shirpur. Both Digambars and Svetambars claim ownership of this temple. It is open only for darshan.
In the “Muktagiri Area” ( 70-80 Kms. away from Amravati near Paratavara ) we find many natural caves and statues . One can reach this place from Murtizapur as well which is around 50 Kms. from here. 8. Sidhkut Digambar Jain Temple is located at aboute 58 Kms. from Khandwa through Badvami Road near Narmada Purna Sangam,. One can reach here by boat as it is just 15 Kms. away from Onkareshwar.
